Veronica Berger, LCSW, MPH

Veronica a native of Bakersfield, completed her MPH and MSW degree from Case Western and saw the benefit of crisis nurseries while working at a Children's Hospital in Cleveland.

After many years, the dream to bring a crisis nursery to Kern County and surrounding areas became a work in progress after moving back and realizing the need to establish one for local famillies.

Veronica has over 10 years experience working with children and families and is looking forward to seeing many families benefit from Beth's house.

Andrew Waite brings over 20 years of management experience to the board, with a proven track record of leadership and community engagement. As a dedicated father to his daughter, he understands the importance of creating safe, supportive environments for children and families in need. Guided by a deep passion for helping others, he is committed to advancing the mission of the crisis nursery and ensuring that every child has access to care, stability, and hope during times of hardship.
